Great site. I was raised in Gallitzin in the 40's and 50's I remember when the fire whislte was sounded at the end of world war II. and Bob McCae was the fire chief. I also can remember when the county fire convention was held in Gallitzin. It was great to watch the competetion of the county fire departments in the battle of the barrel. I have fond memories of the activities of the department. Keep up the good work and the tradition.
