While on standby at Blair Station 50 (Allegheny Township Fire) Rescue Engine 71 was alerted to a Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) with entrapment in the area of Route 22 West and 764 off ramp in Allegheny Township.

Station 71 was dispatched at 18:20 for a vehicle accident on Gallitzin Road at the intersection of Shaft Road in Gallitzin Township. 71 Chief (Nagle) and Rescue Engine 71 arrived on scene to find a three vehicles involved in the accident.

At 20:58 Station 71 was dispatched for a vehicle accident with entrapment at the 400 block of Pershing Street in Gallitzin Borough. Due to entrapment Rescue Engine 70 (Keystone Fire - Cresson) was also dispatched for a secondary rescue tool and manpower.
