November 9, 2022 was the first dispatch for ATV71. The first dispatch was at 17:22 to assist District 70 (Keystone / Cresson) for a brush fire on Admiral Peary Highway. The ATV crew and crew from Engine 71 worked together to extinguish hot spots on the right flank of the fire.

Station 71 was dispatched at 18:12 to a vehicle accident with no injuries at the 900 Block of Gallitzin Road (Route 53). Rescue Engine 71 and Utility 71 responded and found one vehicle with front end damage and debris all over the road as a result of hitting a deer.
