About us
The Gallitzin Fire Company is a 100% volunteer organization founded in September of 1903.
 
The Gallitzin Fire Company provides volunteer fire prevention, suppression, and rescue services to the residents, visitors and those traveling through Gallitzin Borough, Tunnelhill Borough, Gallitzin Township and neighboring communities. The Gallitzin and Tunnelhill Borough Councils have recognized the Gallitzin Fire Company as the primary fire service for Gallitzin and Tunnelhill Boroughs. The Gallitzin Township Supervisors have recognized the Gallitzin Fire Company as the primary fire service for certain areas of Gallitzin Township.
 
The Gallitzin Fire Company consists of approximately thirty (30) active volunteers, manning one (1) Rescue-Engine, one (1) Engine, one (1) Utility, and one (1) ATV. Service is provided from a single station located at 210 St. Thomas Street, Gallitzin, PA 16641.
